Jay-Z and Kanye West are GENIUS.

I have always thought they were in the connotation of music, but they are intelligence/intellectually genius.

They have figured out what a lot of Americans will never take the time to analyze. Due to our believing what we are told, just because we are told it’s “true”, thought process. We will never understand that their is no constraints on the mind. Everything that we are emulating today is a derivative of Ancient Greece and the Roman Culture.

Think about it.

The set-up to our civilized society, our actual government, religious depictions and basis. All derivatives of Ancient Greece.

So why shouldn’t Jay and Ye capitalize off of it?

Look at this a bit deeper. Kanye’s mother was a Doctor in the realm of Education. She taught as an English Professor at Clark Atlanta and was on the Board of Education for English at Chicago State. Which is heavily a reference point for a lot of Kanye’s material, if you research deeper.

Kanye was in college.

This is a category that a lot of these other entertainers can’t even relish in. Most because of circumstances, but some just because they weren’t able to grasp education enough to progress to get “accepted” into college. Period.
Along with Kanye’s mother being a scholar herself, you know, he had to grasp that same knack and love for education through her.

You see how close Kanye and his mother were. She was his manager, and best friend. Which makes even more sense since he is an only child. If you don’t know the circumstance, you can’t fathom how strong that bond is. Being that I am the oldest of three children I can’t fully grasp it. But, with both of my siblings being 6 years my junior, I can understand that Motherly-Son bond. Plus, see how it has had a drastic impact on his career.

Enter Jay-Z.

Jay is from a completely different cloth, yet, the same. Jay comes from a single parent household and his mother also has a deep background in education. Mrs. Gloria Carter, doesn’t have the doctorate, the way Dr. West had but you can see Jay has a high aptitude for grasping knowledge.

Jay-Z DID not attend college.

You add both of this backgrounds together, you realize the potential for something of this magnitude (The Throne) to happen.

You can tell that this has been a well thought out plan that has been matriculating through the essence of both careers of each artist. Since their teaming up with each other on Jay’s original Blueprint, but it took the BP3 for it to rear its head and take form.

The Blueprint 3’s artistic value was the “muse” that was needed to give the idea a bit more tweaking. With “Hate” and “Run This Town”, the creative bond that was nurtured with The Blueprint, blossomed to give the rightful stage.

“My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” was the actual set up for “Watch The Throne”.

Nobody has went back to pick up on that “lob pass” though.

The whole production value to MBDTF was based on Greek Mythology.

From it’s inception, the album cover artwork to the critically acclaimed, “Power”, lyrics and video both had Greek depictions and connotations. Just as the same was for the likes of “Runaway”, and “Monster” too. The ensuing short film that came with the actual album all had the same Greek Mythology ties.

“The Throne” is born.

“Watch The Throne” is actually MBDTF 2. It is going to stand on its’ on as a piece of art and an album, but it’s the continuation of MBDTF.

Now, am not saying this as a knock. As you can see from the stance point, knowledge, and research that has been put with this thought, I am HUGE Jay and Ye fans. But fact is fact.

The common thread that comes between the two pieces of art, are profound but very provoking. Provoking in the sense that fans have to love that two people of their magnitude would come together to put something of this nature together. KNOWING the scrutiny and criticizing that was going to take place upon its release. It’s PHENOMENAL.

The connotation, that two of Hip Hop’s heaviest Heavyweighters to merge forces is unparalleled at this point in either of their careers. To be able to put ego aside and make art of this caliber is art in itself. As was seen with Jay’s last “mega collaboration”, “Best of Both Worlds”, it’s not as easy as go in the studio and let the work art flow.

But that’s off the principle.

Two men of this caliber to collaborate…was planned and marketed with precision. The parallels to Greek Culture are unbiased if you look at closely.

In Greek Literature, was the first time that Gods were made in the image of our likeness. Human characteristics were placed on the “unknown” for it to be made sensible. You see the Gods’ fighting, experience betrayal,gluttony, adultery, murder. You see human characteristic in what you are to worship. Also, you were able actually to interact with the Gods. They all resided in Olympus. Their set up was similar to what the picture is depicted as in “The Last Super”. As seen in that picture, and in film reincarnations, it was set up as royalty.

“Watch The Throne”

If you listen to the context that is touched on in song, as well as their lifestyles. It becomes that much more clear. Like I touched on earlier, all of our civilized society is based on concepts that were established by the Greeks. For example, the governing system our government is running now, carbon copy of Ancient Greece.

In reference many times, Jay shows his affiliation to President Obama.

“Obama on the text…”

Which shows that he is not of the average man’s relevance or cloth. When you are actually “friends” with “the most powerful man in all industrialized civilization”, your a bit different. This is of divinely favored ;”God” status.

From Jay and Ye, both, referencing themselves “God MCs” people are not understanding where this incarnation comes from. Kanye since the inception of MBDTF has been walking around with what is considered by novice, a Sphinx, on a gigantic chain. FALSE. It is actually, the face of Dionysus. He is considered by many historians to be the insinuation of the “essence” of modern Rock N Roll in Ancient Greece. He in Greek Mythology, is the God, of Grapes and wine. He is a son of Zeus, and one of the “darker” depictions of Godliness in Mythology. Which also brings into focus why wine is considered “The Devils Nectar” in later biblical interpretations. Dionysus is where this depiction derived. His connection, to Rock N Roll, is he was careless in his behavior. Was reckless in caring how he treated others, and himself. Only cared to get his message across, and would do so by any means.

Understand, why Ye is “honoring” Dionysus? See the similarities in both lives?

Jay is more so Zeus, by standards of Hip Hop, and the masses. The pinnacle of prominence in his genre. Who everybody looks at to set the bar. The quint-essential standard by which excellent is graded. In his own words, “the MJ of recording”. Ye seems to bow out only to him regards to ANYTHING. Artistically, is the only “restraint” in Kanye’s existence. The “Big Brother/Father-esq” depiction in his existence.

Know you understand where “The Throne” authorization came from.

Then you look closely on the actual lyric content, that is on the album. It touches on the lavish lifestyles that they both live and how they are seeing it from their perspectives. It’s biased in opinions, but it’s THEIR existence. It shows their emotions and their vulnerability to the things of the world. Yet, they still show that they “hover” above the normal existence. Like Royalty…Gods…on The Throne. They touch on aspects of religion, the lack there of it in American culture. The affinity to how it changes with status and economics. Understand the dynamic of life and how it can be altered drastically by an instance;through death. It’s even references, to the 2012 Apocalypse. It’s a wider retrospective, touch on the album then most will realize.

Then the actual, presentation of the album. The vivid, Greek statue depiction on the cover. The imagery, of all interpretations of life. Using the “gold” like most of the statues of royalty were gold or limestone. The merging of the faces on the inter-cover. As if depicting Montaur, the half man, half ram. The Greek Mythology interpretations run all through this work. Then take into consideration that the whole work was put together in France. Which is a direct derivative of Greek culture by way of the Roman empire. And there resides all of those statues, the gold and limestone, that influence of a system not based solely on religion like America.

That “Illuminati” talk is irrelevant too. Anyone, that knows about this and have done research, realize they were who you ASPIRED to be. The Illuminati was based on the elite of society,the scientist, the doctors, and scholars. The people of the highest forms of intelligence. They were “banned” and frowned upon because they were in control of the laws and regulations that were in place in society. And just like anything, if the government can’t have full control of regulation of something. They they don’t want it to exist. The Illuminati was not willing to relinquish power to the government so they were consider “corrupt” and black balled by society. So as it was then, it still is the same now. We should all aim to be the Illuminati, maybe we wouldn’t be so naive to the world and its needs.

But, why wouldn’t you make the correlation of Royalty & Gods being where they came from to what they are achieving now?

When you look at everything as myth and a fable, and your life can correspond to it why not live life in their eyes?

The bigger picture though is, just like the Greeks connected their religion to the earth and not “man made” traits. If we were more sensible and worried about our planet and the damage we are doing to our only resource for life. Instead of worrying about money and our governmental agendas we might be a little more well off.

But just another thought out of millions.
