Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Daily we wake up, scratch, and stretch then make way to the bathroom. After our “morning glory” you stand dismal in front of the mirror. Now the day begins, this repetition becomes so systematic that most times we don’t even really understand what is happening. The mirror is used to fix, prim, and pat everything for viewing pleasures but why is it that you never really “study” yourself? Have you ever really looked past your reflection in the mirror and stared back at your soul? The man/woman in the mirror determines your outcome daily. The reflection makes reality set in. What is it that I want from me? What strides towards greatness am I going to take today? Question after question should be asked while dazing into that reflection. Yet your character and focus are what really externalize what is said in that mirror and will set the tone for your day. Make your goal daily be to start off the day on a positive note, not worry about what possibly could go wrong rather than what WILL go right, and remove all negative connotations from your existence. The mirror reflects what the mind’s optic can handle; it shows you and what is behind you in the reciprocal. Which means if you “think it…it can be achieved”, your thoughts really alter anything you do. (Also remember that in the reflection what is behind you is in front of you, this the only time that “past” thoughts, trials, and tribulations are brought to the forefront and only time that “they” need to be.) Reflect and move on. Look in the mirror and believe in yourself and portray that confidence in the world. Since the reciprocal is looking at you and what is behind you…what do you think it sees or is saying about you?
Stay Driven. Stay Focus. Reflect and React.
